Cookie Policy
What P3 stores in your browser, why it is there, and how to change or withdraw your choice.
Last updated 4 September 2026
01The short version
Until you accept analytics, this website stores exactly one thing in your browser: the answer you gave to the cookie banner. Nothing is loaded from PostHog, no analytics identifier is created, and no third-party script runs.
Strictly speaking not all of this is a “cookie”. Your choice is kept in localStorage, which behaves similarly and is covered by the same rules, so we treat it the same way here.
02Strictly necessary
p3-consent— browser storage, set by this website. Records whether you accepted analytics, when, and which version of this policy you answered. Without it we would have to ask on every page. It contains no identifier and is never sent to a server.
This cannot be switched off, because refusing it would mean forgetting your refusal. If you clear your browser storage we will ask again.
03Analytics
Only if you accept, we load PostHog to understand which pages people read and which parts of the site are useful. PostHog sets its own storage in your browser — typically a cookie and matching local storage named ph_<project key>_posthog, holding a randomly generated identifier that links your visits together. It expires after 365 days, which is the posthog-js default we use.
What it records: pages visited, referring page, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device type, and clicks on elements of the interface. Session recording is switched off, so we do not replay your screen.
PostHog processes this on our behalf under a data processing agreement, on its EU cloud, so the data stays within the EEA. See our Privacy Policy for the legal detail.
04What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies, and no advertising networks on this site.
- No cross-site tracking, and no sharing of your browsing with data brokers.
- Nothing that reads the contents of a gallery — the analytics on this marketing site never touch photographs, which in any case reach us encrypted.
05Changing your mind
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, and it takes effect immediately — declining stops collection and clears the analytics identifier.
You can also block or delete storage through your browser settings. Doing so removes your saved answer, so the banner will appear again on your next visit.
06Changes
If we add anything that stores data in your browser, we will update this page and ask you again rather than assuming your previous answer still applies.
